Revolving Bintang Restaurant, Federal Hotel.

If you like going to restaurants with a different feel, a different atmosphere, and of course, a beautiful view - you would wanna go for a revolving restaurant. There are two prominent revolving restaurants in Kuala Lumpur - one of it would be the KL Tower. Get panoramic views of the entire Kuala Lumpur skyline from right up here.

The other - would be the Revolving Bintang Restaurant at Federal Hotel.

It used to be amongst the tallest buildings in the city when it was completed back in 1957. But times have changed. Buildings have gotten taller. Now, the most prominent building that you can see from inside here would be the KLCC Twin Towers - and the Berjaya Times Square. Nonetheless, that didnt stop us from going there for a late dinner.

The bread appetizer serving.

Basically, the bread is unlimited. Eat all you want. Eat all you can. =)

It is quite a simple wild mushroom soup. I've had better.

The satay.

Comparing it with the Nyok Lan Kajang satay - this satay is nothing. But give them some credit - they actually did a pretty decent job in making these satay. The ketupat tasted pretty good too. But the sauce needed some added oooomph.

My main course - the grilled prawns.

I am always a fan of big prawns, be it grilled, barbequed, toasted, fried, steamed, baked or whatever style - except sashimi of course - I still love my big prawns. The grilled prawns were very good. I would give it a fancy 8.5/10. =)
