Sunway Pyramid has always been a confusing shopping mall. I mean, I would always get lost in there - thankfully theres the ever so helpful Concierge personnel, ready to assist. I was there yesterday to check out Cafe Barbera Sunway Pyramid. If you are looking for this place, it is really very easy. Walk through Parkson, and it is just at the outside of Parkson, the outdoor area. Still dont ring a bell? Its neighbours include ChaTime, Kim Gary, Brussels... oh, and Red Box Karaoke too! =)

Cafe Barbera Sunway Pyramid.

Barbera coffee originated in Messina Italy, 1870. The founder, Domenico Barbera, is nicknamed the Magician for his extraordinary talent in creating great coffee taste and aroma. Upon his death, his son Antonio carried over the family’s legacy and continued to spread the business all over Sicily and Calabria.

Café Barbera Sunway Pyramid will be the third outlet in Malaysia which was soft launched on 5th November 2011. The first Café Barbera Bangsar is located at No. 18, Lorong Maarof, Bangsar Park, 59000 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It operates daily from 8.30am to 11.00pm. The 2nd outlet is at KLIA.

Awesome coffee from Cafe Barbera.

Café Barbera also offers more than 20 types of coffees, blended from the best coffee beans imported from Brazil, Central America and Indonesia. To optimize the quality of its blends, Barbera sources the coffee directly; “Arabica”, which encapsulates the most delicate fragrances, and the “Robusta” for strength and body of the espresso brew.

Check out their double toasted latte, their Signature cappucino shakerato and probably all its other coffee on offer too!!! =)

The Smoked Salmon Bruschetta, Spinach and Cheese Spring Roll and Rolled Smoked Duck Salad.

The smoked salmon bruschetta consists of 4 portions - yup ideal for sharing; slice of smoked salmon with olive oil, capers, dill as well as rocket salad served on toast. And then we also have the rolled spinach with emmental cheese, another awesome delight. The rolled smoked duck gives you a very appetizing feeling - making you feel like eating more.

All the hand made Italian pizza.

Guess what - check out the Café Barbera Opening Promotion deal!!! Between 9am-12noon and 3pm -6pm - Drink all you Can for RM 15 on all Coffee! ...and then from 12noon - 3pm, 6 pm - 9pm RM 15 on hand made Italian PIZZA! This promo is valid till 30th November 2011.

Thats not all - check out their New Daily Breakfast Lite @ RM9+ with freshly baked pastry & a cup of Barbera's coffee, OR ADD RM2 for additional freshly baked pastry with any drinks purchased at Café Barbera Sunway Pyramid.

The pasta servings and main courses.

If you like your pasta creamy, you could go for the fettucine with sliced mushroom, beef and egg yolk in a creamy carbonara sauce. They also have the salmon aglio olio - whereby the pan fried salmon fillet is topped with homemade caper sauce on a bed of spaghetti aglio olio. Oooo yummyyy..... For lasagna loves, go for the chicken lasagna!!!

Not a pasta fan? Then why not go for their braised lamb shank - served with fettucine and grapes.... or even better, go order their grilled tenderloin, a delicious steak served with sauteed baby potatoes, vegetables and green peppercorn sauce.

Oh wait, I forgot about the soups!!!

The homemade cream of mushroom soup.

The homemade cream of pumpkin soup with roasted garlic.

If you dont feel like a heavy meal, you can go for their freshly baked croissant.

Sweet desserts from Cafe Barbera.

If you love desserts as much as I do - then you havta check this all out. My personal favourite is the chocolate fondant - a delicious molten chocolate pudding served with vanilla ice cream! There's also the house specialty tiramisu as well as the pear crumble. =)

The place is flushed with pretty ladies, you can check them out right away!

Go check out their website or Facebook for more info; better yet, follow them on Twitter! =)

Have you tried the one in bangsar? It seems prettier than the one in Sunway pyramid. Was thinking to try this cafe but not sure which branch to go to...
