As mentioned on Wikipedia, an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a quad, quad bike, three wheeler, or four wheeler, is defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a vehicle that travels on low pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.
While I was at Ruby's Resort for my weekend getaway in Cherating - I decided to try out the ATV. It was indeed... my first time.
There were three types - one was for the staff use only (super powerful ones), one was the high powered one - and the third one was the standard version. I - decided that I had to take the high powered one... and so, the adventure began...
I wanted to bring the ATV to the beach - but it was not allowed as the staff said that its too sandy for the ATV to move. We had a good 30 minute run - it may sound like short, but actually it felt like a pretty long time though. I would love to own an ATV one day, and hopefully my own ranch to ride it in too!!! =)
Carrying two cute little doggies would be quite a handful for me on the ATV. So we actually only posed for photos only... *grins* =)
