Flower Drum Fine Cuisine @ Sherwyn's Wedding.

Last weekend, we were invited to a special themed wedding dinner party gathering - it was Sherwyn and Angeline's wedding night!! Hehe a special night to remember for all of us! It was held at the Flower Drum Fine Cuisine at Jalan Bukit Bintang.

Anyways, lets go to the food...

The unique roast suckling pig - with glutinous rice... =)

This is the 1st time I'm eating the roast suckling pig this way - the glutinous rice was very good. A little soaked with the oil from the pig, the rice tasted very good and the aroma was just incredible!!! I will return for this dish!!! =P

The scallop and seafood soup...

Not bad - at least we're saving the sharks today. Hehe. The double-boiled soup tasted delicious and I believed was very nutritious too. After having the soup, you'll feel very very refreshed! Very nice... =P

Brocolli and the grouper fish...

The brocolli was not bad; the fish was very fresh. You can feel the freshness of the fish through its texture in every bite. Another good dish!!! 8/10!!!

The double styled prawns.

One side of the plate are butter prawns, the other are cereal prawns. I think both also quite good - but I personally like the butter prawns better. Not too dry, not too wet. Just perfect for my liking. The cereal side meanwhile goes to show how good the chef is at preparing prawns... awesomes!!!

The noodles...

This would be a no-no for me. Maybe I was too full. But I think its way too dry, and a little bit tasteless. Wont order this next time.

The banana 'woh peng'.

Also another first time for me - this is like having a mashed goreng pisang filling for the woh peng - which is usually the super sweet lotus stuff. I love this - I just hope its not for banquets only..

Okay - enough with the food already. This wedding dinner was a very unique one; there were like some entertainment of a different type here...

Every guest was given 5 poker chips...

We were expected to go and gamble - of which the winner takes home a mystery gift. There were two tables - one side they were playing Texas Hold'Em, and then the other was playing high stakes Blackjack. Interesting and cool stuffs... =P

Oh, met up with long time classmate from Sri Inai that night - hehehe anyone here remember our country's first ever Malaysian GT Queen? Yeah.. met Fiona Kwok there that night. Coincidentally we had mutual friends ahaha... damn long never see her liao lorr..

Anyways, congratulations to Sherwyn and Angeline again... =D

Congratulations!!! Next year, hopefully we will be at your banquet again - this time for FULL MONTH right??? Hehehehe LOL.
